summary
A meditation on legacy lists concrete surprises: an uncle once in Encyclopedia Britannica later erased, a claim that the Dutch Golden Age was financed by drugs and the country is now a top producer, a Finnish Snake creator from Turku who never parlayed that into a career, someone who blows $20 million in 666 days, Zelda hailed as the best game, a film called The Wanderers in production, Guantánamo still open despite an Obama order, and Truman’s decision causing 120,000 deaths.
