A smartphone app called ReVibe records location, activity, and ambient sound throughout the day and shows 30-minute context snippets in the evening to help users recall specific moments. A 14-day randomized study with 54 participants finds 5.6% higher recall accuracy when context is shown and 27.8% higher evening recall completion than EMAs, with raw binary agreement >85% and likert answers within one point >86%; EMA burden and dropout increase over time while recall stays stable.
