Mise-Unseen uses eye tracking plus models of attention, intention and spatial memory to covertly swap or alter objects in the user’s field of view. Built examples include an adaptive jigsaw that changes pieces to ease difficulty, passive-haptics that reassigns a single prop while preserving relational weights between objects, and peripheral-rate reduction (1 Hz) to cut motion sickness. A seven-application prototype runs these techniques; a 15-participant study shows gaze plus visual masking (motion, crossfade, low contrast) markedly lowers detection rates.
