A method uses a standard FDM consumer printer to weave rigid filament into upright textiles by printing a base, thin cylindrical pillars, and hairlike weft fibers with nozzle detours to avoid collisions. Design tools in Rhino/Grasshopper generate G-code and binary-image patterns; calibration uses a 10–20 minute test print. Examples: 260 × 50 mm prints in ~9 hours, a 270 mm square takes ~50 hours, survives a 3 kg load, and can use PLA/ABS; conductive filaments show limited success.
