HeatSpace records real user viewpoints with three Kinect v2 depth cameras over sessions in a 4×4 m test area, builds voxel-grid heatmaps for persistence, distance and visibility (occlusion, field‑of‑view, viewing angle), and samples and jointly optimizes display pose and size for planar surfaces. It provides an installer UI with real‑time shaded feedback and uses alternating gradient descent to place multiple displays. Works for static wall/table mounts, cannot place freestanding or ceiling displays and needs post‑install validation.
