Formalizes integrity violations with the Entity-Relationship model and relational algebra and implements a static analyzer, Aletheia, that uses static single assignment and a scalable abstract call graph to infer cross-service foreign keys and five problematic operation patterns (for example absence of cascade deletes). Evaluated on 7 open-source microservice apps (including Train Ticket), it finds 50 true positives (46 previously unreported), 12 false positives, 22 false negatives, yielding 81% precision and 69% recall, and scales to call graphs with up to 500 services.
