OSGeo Oceania Grant Program in 5 minutes
summary
OSGeo Oceania runs three grant tiers: microgrant for quick local activities, a small grant up to $1,000 per year for recurring groups, and a larger competitive grant up to $5,000 for multi‑month or bolder projects. Grants fund travel, conference childcare and kids‑friendly sessions, tree planting to offset carbon, and community breakfasts supporting women. The program starts in 2018 with a traveling grant and now reports use across nine countries in the Pacific and multiple successful events.
