Opening
summary
Opening covers site logistics and community rules: registration and code of conduct, Wi‑Fi access details, AV hiccup from three missing DHL boxes and a patched setup, and promise to upload recordings to YouTube. Schedule notes include catering times, a beachfront social dinner plus three-minute lightning talks after dinner, and a volunteer-driven Sunday unconference. Local campus info highlights UPB’s research groups and a working UPB fab for semiconductors and photonics.
