Can You Move Production vSphere VMs To KubeVirt? Yes. Here's How

A real migration pipeline that moves a 4 vCPU, 2 GB RAM Debian VM from vSphere to KubeVirt using Forklift, streaming disk conversion with virt-v2v and creating KubeVirt VirtualMachine and DataVolume objects is demonstrated; target cluster needs port 443 to vCenter and 902 to ESXi. With VMware’s VDDK available conversion would take ~10–15 minutes, but that component is gated so this demo uses cold HTTPS transfer and is slow; result boots on KubeVirt and preserves files.
