Emoji IA: What is a Lobster?
summary
A public spreadsheet manually compares IA placements for over 3,600+ emoji across platforms (400+ comments recorded) and reveals two dominant frameworks: explicit vs implicit. Findings: lobster flips between food and animal categories; Unicode adds lobster in 11.0 (2018) and a trans pride flag in 13.0 (2020); syringe art is standardized post‑2021 and gun art changed to a water pistol in 2016. The resource informs a Crux cover story and remains editable so the method and results stay current.
