summary
A LinkedIn post grows into a Discord-run community that targets job seekers and helps dozens of beginners make their first open source contributions, receive maintainer code reviews, and add real projects to portfolios. Community stats show 1300 participants and 20+ projects under the umbrella, with recruiters invited to a planned October meetup to scout talent. The workflow uses a Discord server, shared project repos, and mentor reviews, and aims to replicate the model in English-speaking and other regions.
