Blockchain analysis shows 85% of Zcash activity stays transparent, private z-to-z transactions are under 1%, and deposits/withdrawals around the shielded pool reveal linking patterns. Simple heuristics flag 69.1% deanonymized of transactions that touch the pool, identify about ~120k miner addresses via withdrawals with many outputs that include known pool addresses, and tie roughly ~2,000 founder-related withdrawals by matching distinctive deposit and withdrawal amounts and timing.
