Connect. Spread. The Journey Begins. / A Meet-Up to Make Friends and Enjoy RSGT to the Fullest
summary
A Day0 workshop demonstrates how to turn conference nerves into networks by using Discord voice channels and on-site meetups, splitting attendees into 5–7 person groups for a reporter-style “press conference” roleplay with visible name-badge prompts. The concrete setup uses Zoom for overflow, Discord threads for text, and timed rounds; reported outcomes include long OST discussions, new reading groups and proposals, and at least one attendee changing their work approach.
