AutoAssembler converts 2D laser‑cutting plans into editable 3D models using a beam search over plate-assembly candidates and a hash table of joint shapes to find matching finger and T‑joints. Evaluated on 66 models, it fully assembles 79% automatically; another 18% need on average 2.7 disambiguation clicks, for a 97% overall success rate. It favors compact, non‑intersecting assemblies, minimizes unpaired joints, exploits symmetry, and requires at least one edge joint.
