Follow Me - The Home Entertainment Robot
summary
Keecker is a rolling home-entertainment robot that projects any wall or ceiling and carries speakers, cameras and a web-capable Android stack to handle video, music, gaming and Skype-style calls. It autonomously scans and creates its own indoor map using multiple sensors for position, sound and environment, so a single device replaces multiple fixed screens and speakers. A 20-person French team ships the product now and demo units run around homes to show it actually navigates and serves as a digital entertainment center.
