summary
A Twitter chat seeded under #WOCinTech chat becomes a functioning community that raises $6,000 from Fund Club, builds a website and mailing list, and runs concrete programs: five Twitter chats in four months, scholarships and sponsorships for three conferences, a stock-photo shoot, a Python workshop and a jQuery summit contribution, plus a hiring newsletter sent to 300 people. Rules limit participation to women of color and nonbinary POC and enforcement keeps space usable.
