Cardboard boss
summary
A 2.5 meter tall cardboard cutout of the boss becomes a Wi‑Fi remote toy built from an ESP8266, salvaged robot vacuum wheels and simple AA batteries, driven from phones via an access point protected by code 0000. The rig steers forward/back/left/right and has an “attack” stop, works well enough to parade through an underground and at a Christmas party, but is fragile, too wide for doors, and liable to be hijacked by whoever last connects, delivering team morale and hands‑on IoT learning.
