SIG-PM defines the KEP-based workflow that gates features into releases: a machine-readable KEP template with metadata, motivation, goals, test plan and graduation criteria; enhancement issues, labels and a release-tracked 1.15 milestone; example KEP: CSI volume resizing. Current tracking is a manual spreadsheet for each release (e.g. 1.15), and the plan is to convert KEPs into versioned PR receipts and use an automation bot to enforce deadlines and flip states so release teams stop doing error-prone manual work.
