How I get your location: A story of permissions

Built a reliable Flutter flow for location that uses the permission and location libraries and handles foreground vs background differences, noting Android lets apps request twice but iOS only once. Solves iOS quirks where location services off blocks requests by doing onboarding and redirecting to settings. Detects native permission modal by watching lifecycle transitions (inactive→resume) with an app state watcher and two booleans (modal shown, button pressed) so the code either waits then updates status or redirects to settings, giving a working permission and location flow.
