A Programmer: Still Growing
summary
Career reflection that ties concrete milestones to learning: finding an August 1980 magazine and a February 1981 cover anchors decades of change, the original £99.95 price equating to about £450 today, and a timeline that runs from being able to discuss air traffic control in the Czech Republic to years working in DNS and a recent pivot into audio programming with Mr Goodliff. Growth comes from variety, setbacks and repeated relearning.
