Proposes Translation Pass-Through (TPT): guests build one-dimensional guest-virtual→host-physical page tables while the host enforces isolation via a per-VM host frame tag map and unique VM tags. Implements a KVM/QEMU prototype with an emulated AMD memory tagging mechanism and Linux pvops enlightenment. Shows near-native translation cost (four memory accesses on TLB miss) and end-to-end gains—up to 2.4× speedup over nested paging and 1.4× over shadow paging in datacenter workloads.
