In Relentless Pursuit of REST

Argues that following REST trims complexity by turning custom actions into concrete resources and small plain Ruby objects, using Rails routes and the resources helper, not magic DSLs. Shows concrete refactors: PasswordsController replacing edit_password/update_password, a small AddFeaturedFlag service object for featured photos, and a ShipmentsController replacing vague process actions. Moves behavior out of brittle 200–400 line state machines into testable services, produces smaller controllers, easier tests, simpler PRs, and fewer bugs.
