Goal is to verify Google’s PKVM hypervisor running on ARM, not just papers: ARM semantics is captured in 420,000 lines of ARM spec (Sail/ASL), the hypervisor is ~20–30k ARM instructions, and a runnable top-level executable C spec is implemented. Work includes Sail/ASL → Isabelle proofs for translation properties, Iris proofs for specific exception-handler assembly after symbolic simplification, a proposed simplified/DRF-like VM model, CN/refined-C tooling, and proposed translation-validation of clang; partial results exist, but full end-to-end verification remains open.
