Interpreter-guided concolic testing uses the VM interpreter as executable semantics to auto-generate unit tests for JIT-compiled code, modeling frames/objects/classes symbolically and lowering paths to SAT-solver constraints; applied to the Pharo VM (255 bytecodes, ~340 native methods, 146 IR ops) it auto-generates 5,000 unit tests in ~5 minutes, runs them in ~10 seconds, and uncovers 500 differences traceable to 91 root causes (segfaults, missing type-predictions, behavioral bugs).
