AIRCODE achieves imperceptible screen-camera transmission at about 1 Mbps with reported BER ≈ 5% by splitting payload and metadata: video frames carry high-rate data while inaudible audio (preambles at 20–22 kHz, data at 17–19 kHz, 67 ms packets, Manchester coding) carries robust metadata. It uses visual odometry to initialize and track screen corners, merging rule-based candidates and keyframe optimization, yielding correct screen detection in >97% of frames and tracking errors within ~9 pixels on commercial monitors and phones.
