on YouTube ↗06m

" summary

Project moves from a Percona‑centric monolith to a tiny core with a modular plugin system that removes operator lock‑in, donated to CNCF sandbox, adds a simple providers SDK for “mini‑operators,” and exposes lightweight plugins for UI and integrations. Results: stars climb, ecosystems expand from 3 databases in 3 years to 10 total, with seven technologies in seven months and 16 contributors with multiple merged PRs, proving neutrality drives contributions.
