HSL: The RGB You've Been Waiting For
summary
Demonstrates actual, interactive conversions from RGB to HSL with a live demo at http://visnup.github.io/hsl, showing how rotating hue and adjusting lightness produces the intended lighter orange instead of drifting toward yellow. Shows tools: browser CSS recognizes hsl and the page exposes HSL values on mouseover, and walks through using HSL to build coherent palettes and desaturate photos. Mentions CIE Lab as a more advanced option. Practical, runnable examples that work.
