Lessons from Transforming Teams to AI Native Workflows

Work with about 15 pilot teams inside a 100,000-developer environment finds four reproducible lessons: agents remove low-value coding but coding isn't the only bottleneck, so teams build small building blocks—summarized build logs, one-click fixes, and docs checked into the repo—then run an AI litmus check to count developer interventions and agent token calls. Teams that adopt one prompt per task, continuous deployment, modular code and production-like automated tests see real throughput gains; agentic friction reveals priority areas to fix.
