Keynote: Welcome Remarks & Announcements
summary
Conference opens with logistical updates and community calls to action: sponsors include Intel (platinum) and Resume (gold), an on-site PhD student Ralph Ramsar runs a survey of kernel engineers/open-source developers, and organizers solicit real-world testing input for the Fuego automated test framework. Seven small prizes (Hot Tamales) are available as incentives, and the plan is to collect stories all week and publish or reward the six best test stories at the closing.
