Opening Remarks (Day 1) with Keanya Phelps
summary
Opening remarks cover logistics and community rules not abstract promises: a land acknowledgement for Chicago, a strict code of conduct with reporting contacts, and mask-only seating sections marked in both ballrooms. Wellness room is single-occupancy with do-not-disturb signs. Meals are served buffet-style on the 15th floor; swag and shirts arrive tomorrow. Sprints run Thu–Fri 9–5 in the LaSal Ballroom, and video recordings posted a couple weeks after the event.
