Overview of concrete APIs and what actually works: Qt Mobility exposes positioning via createDefaultSource and NMEA support for external GPS, a tile-based map widget that embeds in GraphicsView (partial QML bindings), geocoding and reverse geocoding against the Navtech server, and routing that returns waypoint lists and maneuver text with travel modes (car, foot, transit). A plugin model lets devices offer offline or hybrid maps (Nokia offline supported). Sensor framework provides accelerometer, magnetometer, proximity, filters and dynamic sensor plugins; demos run but online map lookups are slow in the recording.
