summary

Closing ceremony summarizes outcomes and next steps with numbers and logistics: 2,000 attendees total, 1672 first‑timers, 270 travel grants distributed (about $261,000 reimbursed so far), posters and live captioning happen, and the fundraiser brings in $35,000 from the auction with a $3,000 top item. Sprints start tomorrow and run daily in rooms 250–251 (8:00–23:00) with introductions now; Pittsburgh hosts PyCon US 2024–2025 and a playlist of Savage Garden plays during the wrap.
