Dasu is a deployable edge experimentation platform with over 90,000 installs across 1,802 networks in 147 countries that lets experimenters push controlled probes from volunteers while protecting hosts. Experiments run in a sandboxed JVM with restrictive security policies and a resource profiler; a coordination service enforces per-destination limits via experiment leases and elastic budgets. Rule-based experiment specs schedule probes only during low-utilization windows; median client session is ~3 hours, and a EDNS study used ~1,200 clients over four months.
