Making Your IoT Ideas a Reality with the Simple and Powerful Intel® IoT Developer Kit

links:none on file
slides:none on file

Shows how the Intel Edison (dual-core Atom, ~500 MHz, 1 GB RAM, 4 GB flash) plus Arduino-compatible expansion and Yocto Linux run real code end-to-end: C/C++ via Eclipse and Node.js via XDK IoT Edition, samples include LED blink, button→buzzer, temperature sensor→LCD and code to push observations to Intel IoT Cloud. Demos compile and run on-board (LED and buzzer work live; cloud upload code is shown though Wi‑Fi wasn’t connected on stage). Roadshows produced 41 projects from ~150 attendees; Galileo distro counts ~50,000 boards distributed.
