Chapel now generates language bindings and build artifacts so Chapel routines compile as libraries callable from C, Python and Fortran, producing generated C headers and Python scikit-compatible glue that preserve default arguments; Fortran gets an interface module and a workflow to produce module description files. Array interop currently supports 1D real arrays and opaque multi-dimensional arrays for callers, with plans to extend native multi-D/block layouts. Multi-locale libraries launch a helper binary and use a ZeroMQ socket protocol plus optional protobuf serialization; current C-string and primitive argument support excludes complex numbers but aims to broaden types and automation of compile flags.
