Welcome and Announcements
summary
Fourth international RailsConf opens in Las Vegas with many first-time attendees and a handful who've been all four years. Sponsors Engine Yard and Bluebox Group fund breakfast and the exhibit hall where vendors demo production tools. Session rooms have power available today only so charge now and share politely. Keynotes are videotaped and posted to Blip TV (crowdsourced uploads allowed; ask permission before filming). Grab a t-shirt at noon and rate sessions online promptly.
