Welcome to PyColorado - Opening Remarks
summary
Welcome to the inaugural PyColorado 2019: an explicitly regional conference built from an MVP checklist — full day of workshops, two days of single‑track talks (16 speakers, 30‑minute slots, two 40‑minute keynotes), affordable tiered pricing and a student $50 ticket; goals include speaker gender parity (one‑third women), local community integration and a code of conduct hotline. What didn’t ship: sprints and family track; what arrived late but real: sponsor prospectus, plus‑one tickets gifted to Devotree students, and a Microsoft DNI lunch.
