" summary

Community growth shows concrete scale: the project grows from ~1,400 to 5,300 contributors with ~450,000 contributions, more than tripling activity and adding ~50 monthly contributors year-over-year. Top active repos are collector, contrib, and java instrumentation. Recent deliverables include the OpenTelemetry community demo (a fork of Google’s microservices demo stripped to pure OT instrumentation), public website usage data via Honeycomb, OTLP metric→log stability milestones, docs consolidation, and an ambassador program.
