Welcome + Opening Remarks
summary
Opening remarks set expectations: edge has a loose definition but the day centers on Kubernetes at edge and real-world constraints across devices, plus logistics like a QR code for the code of conduct and another for captioning and translation. Organizers thank the program committee and sponsors Spectro Cloud and Zeda, note food on level one after sessions, and announce the first short presentation titled "Immutable Lightness of Edge Platforms" focused on practical platform tradeoffs and implementations.
