Implements the Piet-like esoteric language Piatt by porting a Python reference to Ruby, adding an ASI image format, an image generator, and a graphical debugger (JRuby + JRubyFX + image-voodoo). Parser traces execution to build a graph-based parser then lowers to VM instructions and to Ruby lambdas; running on JRuby interprets ~17× faster and JIT compilation nets a reported 305x speedup. Examples include a million-countdown, push/pop semantics, and a Monte Carlo-ish π estimator; tools and numbers are concrete and reproducible.
