Built a proxy JDI that wraps the standard Java JDI to make Nashorn JavaScript values look like Java objects, implements object interning, class-detection, field/property mapping, and stack-frame filtering so JavaScript-only stack traces hide Java runtime frames. Modified jdb into JJSDb for a short demo that shows filtered stacks, locals and reflective invokes of JS getters; the prototype works after a few days of work and the uploader offers boilerplate for reuse. Experimental but functional.
