Abstract Art In A Time Of Minification
summary
Claim: view source disappears behind developer tools so newcomers lose the learning path. Concrete examples: Make8bitart.com hosts thousands of pixel artworks, glitch.com is a free in‑browser collaborative full‑stack editor with a bottom‑of‑page View Source button, every Glitch project is a Git repo and can export to GitHub or ZIP, the Glitch team numbers seven and Fog Creek about 35. Evidence of loss: Vine deletes ≈197 of 200 personal Vines, Gothamist archive vanishes after shutdown with a stray "adios" comment copied from Stack Exchange.
