Mix Kubernetes with Linux Kernel Tracing to Boost the Observability of Your Cluster

slides:none on file

An open source project hooks the existing Linux kernel tracing framework and kernel tracepoints to follow containers as ordinary processes via namespaces, recording 39 distinct events across roughly 300 containers in the demo with millisecond timestamps and low overhead. It correlates syscall and scheduler activity with pod metadata, aggregates traces in-kernel, and exposes results through a simple HTTP API endpoint so the data is queryable from Kubernetes tooling; the demo shows it working end to end in a production-like cluster.
