summary
Cilium 1.19 lands with about 3,000 new commits and 1,000+ contributors and specific networking changes: double-wildcard FQDN patterns, optional ICMPv4 destination-unreachable feedback, cross-cluster policy tweaks and groundwork for FQDN HA, plus mTLS via Z tunnel and strict IPsec/WireGuard modes and several performance wins (IPsec, BPF host routing, VXLAN/WireGuard connection-tracking reduction, path MTU). Tetragon adds Windows support, a new testing framework and BPF cell-expression evaluation. Conference schedule notes book signings, five sessions, three lightning talks, a 4:55 keynote and a 5:30 reception.
