Scheme 2023
as the organisers put it
The Scheme and Functional Programming Workshop is a yearly meeting of programming language practitioners who share an aesthetic sense embodied by the Algorithmic Language Scheme: universality through minimalism, and flexibility through rigorous design. Scheme 2023 is scheduled for Saturday, September 9, 2023. Mark your calendars and join us! This year we welcome Christos Dimoulas from Northwestern University as our keynote speaker. Christos will deliver an engaging talk about The Rational Programmer. You may access accepted articles in the Scheme 2023 Proceedings.
who it's for
programming language researchers, Scheme implementers, compiler engineers, language educators, functional programmers, tooling developers, systems programmers
topics
nondeterministic finite automata visualization; NDFA to DFA conversion; computation graph visualization; continuation-passing style interpreters; CPS-to-Python compilation; call/cc and continuations; nondeterministic backtracking operator; R4RS-compliant tiny REPLs; size-optimized virtual machines; algebraic stepper for continuations; Jupyter integration for Scheme
